Hair Transplant

The hair transplantation is a procedure in which hair follicles from a donor area are transferred to a balding area. It is the only alternative with guaranteed 100% results to treat androgenic alopecia when the follicles have already "died".

There are two types of hair transplantation: FUE and FUSS.

FUSS method

A strip of scalp is removed from the donor area, from which follicular units are selected to be implanted in small holes made in the recipient area. This technique leaves scars, and surgery is required.

FUE method

It extracts the follicular units one by one, directly from the patient's scalp. This achieves a natural look, is painless and leaves no scars.

Both methods are effective. But undoubtedly, the best method is the FUE technique.

As I mentioned before, the FUE technique stands out for keeping the donor area healthier and at the same time allows more natural results in the recipient area, since by allowing the selection of follicles one by one, the necessary follicles can be chosen depending on the place where they are going to be placed and also respecting the normal density of the donor area.
